Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting for multiple Teaching Assistant roles across primary schools in Clitheroe. We have full-time positions available, with hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, across EYFS, KS1, KS2 or SEN support.

You will support teachers with day-to-day activities, provide 1:1 support, work with small groups, help pupils access learning and contribute to positive behaviour and progress.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in primary school settings preferred.
• Ability to support learning across multiple year groups (EYFS to KS2).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils needing extra help.
• Work with small groups and deliver targeted interventions.
• Support pupils with SEN and assist with learning needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Help pupils access learning and make progress.
• Assist with resources and classroom preparation.

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Clitheroe?

We are currently recruiting for multiple Teaching Assistant roles across primary schools in the Clitheroe area. We have a variety of full-time positions available, making this a great opportunity whether your experience lies within EYFS, KS1, KS2 or SEN support.

• Supporting teachers with the day-to-day running of the classroom
• Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help
• Working with small groups and delivering targeted interventions
• Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and confidence
• Helping pupils access learning and make progress
• Assisting with classroom activities and preparing resources
• Working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience and preferences

• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school
• A positive, patient and nurturing approach
• Confidence working independently and as part of a wider school team
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Reliability and availability Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• A genuine passion for supporting children with their education and development
