The Flying Bull Academy in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant who is passionate about supporting learning and promoting children’s independence. You will work under the direction of the Class teacher and SENCO, supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups, and helping with a wide range of activities.

You will collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents/carers, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Supports learning in classroom and promotes independence.
• Requires strong communication with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
• Able to work in a team and use initiative within a cohesive group.
