Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils across mainstream primary schools. You will assist teachers, work with pupils individually or in groups, and help create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and independence.

Experience in schools or childcare is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required or applicants must be willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or educational setting.
• Be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting young learners.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
• Hold a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning and development.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Promote pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
• Assist with classroom preparation, activities, and daily routines.
