Job summary

Churchwood Primary School is seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join the support team. The role is term-time only (39 weeks per year), four days per week from 09:00 to 15:00, on a fixed-term contract until August 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant in a primary setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the class teacher and SENDco on identified priorities.
• Support an educational vision and promote pupils’ learning and development.
• Work with named child/children to ensure progress.
• Attend meetings with the class teacher, SLT, and SENDco as needed.
• Undertake relevant training and professional development as per the school development plan.
