Primary Teaching Assistant - Grantham

Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire
Position: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: 82 - 96 per day

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Grantham. This is a full-time position supporting pupils and teaching staff across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to support learning and development.

• Assist in planning and preparing learning materials and classroom displays.

• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and where necessary.

• Support the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Encourage pupil independence and confidence in their learning.

• Help supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and school trips.

• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour management policies at all times.
