Job summary

Smart Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Westminster. The role runs Oct 2026 to July 2027, with a daily rate of £97-£100.

You will support children academically and pastorally, assist with safeguarding, and communicate with the school SENDCO/DSL as required. Experience with SEN and behaviour management is preferred, within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN/behaviour.
• Experience in a 1-form entry school setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to de-escalate and regulate behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Support children academically and pastorally in class.
• Communicate with the SENDCO/DSL as needed.
• Work within a 1-form entry primary school environment.
