Job summary

Hanson Recruitment Ltd has an opening for a Teaching Assistant in Bath, working full-time during school hours, Monday to Friday.

You will support SEN pupils and the wider class, help pupils' academic progress, promote independence and positive behaviour, and ensure safeguarding policies are followed. Comprehensive training and ongoing consultant support are provided.

Applicants should have Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Good organisational and excellent communication skills.
• Flexible availability during term-time hours (08:30–15:30).

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to SEN pupils and other pupils in class.
• Support students' academic progress and development.
• Enable SEN pupils to become independent learners.
• Encourage participation in social and academic school activities.
• Assist with behaviour management and safeguarding policies.
