Job summary

Affinity Workforce Solutions is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support students academically and socially. You will help understand EHCPs, support across the curriculum, and work as part of a team with initiative and strong communication skills.

The role includes safeguarding training, CPD opportunities, and the option of PAYE or Umbrella pay schemes. Applicants should be UK residents eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Have a sound understanding of Primary Education.
• Develop a good understanding of the student's EHCP - their strengths, needs, outcomes and practice.
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative.
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
