Job summary

Newdigate Primary and Nursery School is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work with primary-aged pupils, alongside a supportive staff team. The role focuses on supporting learning and welfare, with safeguarding as a core responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with primary-aged children is essential.
• Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and welfare in a KS1/KS2 setting.
• Assist with safeguarding and welfare of pupils and contribute to a safe learning environment.
