Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a Milton Keynes primary school to recruit a Teaching Assistant Level 2 for a full‑time, permanent position starting September 2026. The role involves supporting pupils across the primary curriculum within an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with primary-aged children in a school setting preferred.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils to reinforce learning.
• Assist with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy activities.
• Support children with SEND and additional learning needs through targeted interventions.
• Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
