Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream primary school in Bradford seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant for immediate start. You will support pupils across KS1 and KS2, including those with SEND, delivering class and 1:1 support to help learning and confidence.

The role offers a flexible day-to-day or long-term arrangement, with access to dedicated consultants, CPD via My-Progression, competitive rates of pay, and a referral scheme. DBS checks and safeguarding are standard.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Patient, adaptable and supportive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with SEND.
• Support learning across KS1/KS2 and help pupils access lessons.
• Help pupils build confidence and make positive progress.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Bradford who are looking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant. The school provides an inclusive and supportive learning environment for pupils across KS1 and KS2, including children with SEND who require additional support.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day or long-term work with an Immediate Start. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will work across KS1 and KS2, providing classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with SEND while helping children access learning, develop their confidence and make positive progress.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
