Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a friendly primary school in the Chester area. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 and deliver targeted interventions to help learners access the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have recent primary school experience, confidence across key stages, and a proactive, flexible approach to learning, including SEND support and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Recent, relevant experience in a primary school setting.
• Confidence supporting children across different primary key stages.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Ability to deliver focused English and maths interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, flexible and supportive approach to learning.
• Genuine commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2 in the classroom.
• Deliver targeted small-group interventions in English and maths.
• Help pupils engage with lessons and develop independence.
