Job summary

West View Primary School wishes to appoint two motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative Teaching Assistants to support the learning of pupils. These posts will commence as soon as possible.

The successful candidates will work under guidance, implement work programmes for individuals and groups, and provide feedback to teachers to assist in the whole planning cycle and in the management and preparation of resources.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience as a classroom/teaching assistant in a primary school.
• Excellent communication and ICT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning under guidance.
• Implement work programmes for individuals and groups.
• Provide feedback to teachers to assist planning and resource management.
• Assist with planning, preparation and resource organisation.
