Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Llanelli and surrounding area from September. The role supports mixed primary age groups, assists the class teacher, and helps create a safe and productive learning environment.

Roles available on a full-time or part-time basis with PAYE pay. Experience in challenging behaviour and strong communication are essential, with opportunities for CPD and career progression through My-Progression.

Qualifications

• Experience within a UK primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, resilient and proactive approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
