Job summary

EdEx are working with a long-standing Brent primary school to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils across EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), KS1 and KS2, including pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, Global Delay and Down Syndrome.

You will also assist with class management and run targeted interventions. If you are a graduate who can contribute to the school's values of respect, resilience and readiness, this role could be for you.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with an interest in primary education.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with SEN and behavioural needs.
• Carry out interventions and deliver programmes tailored to individual children.
• Provide general classroom support and assist with managing the group.
• Deliver targeted 1:1 support for pupils with SEN as required.

EdEx are currently working with a long-standing client primary school in the Borough of Brent, to find a vibrant and engaging Teaching Assistant to join their team! This diverse primary school is currently looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join their team supporting pupils within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) KS1, KS2 as well as pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs).

Within your role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide general support to pupils with their education as well as targeted 1:1 support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay and Down Syndrome.
