Edlington Victoria Academy, part of Exceed Learning Partnership, is seeking a dedicated classroom support assistant to work in the Early Years and Key Stage 1 environments. You will support pupils through small-group sessions and one-to-one work, help with reading and maths, and assist teachers with administration.

The role is permanent, 27.5 hours per week during term time, with a strong emphasis on applying behaviour strategies and SEN awareness.

• High level of literacy and numeracy are required.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils in small groups and one-to-one
• Help pupils with core curriculum activities such as reading and maths
• Apply the academy's behaviour management strategies
• Assist with classroom administration
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
• Anticipate needs and improve the learning experience without constant direction
• Switch quickly between different tasks and priorities
• Help foster a positive learning environment
