Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Gravesend is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The role involves 1:1 support and small group interventions, including SEND support to help pupils access learning and gain confidence.

The position is permanent, full-time, on-site, with a pay rate of £100-£120 per day, dependent on experience. A dedicated consultant team supports onboarding and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable.
• Experience in a mainstream primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Experience delivering 1:1 pupil support and small group work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt learning activities to pupil needs.
• Patient, positive and understanding approach to learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Provide 1:1 pupil support and small group interventions.
• Support children with SEND to access learning and build confidence.
