M&M Supply, a candidate-first education recruitment agency, is recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within welcoming primary schools in Taunton and surrounding areas. We offer roles across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with flexible day-to-day supply, long-term placements and potential permanent positions.

You’ll support class teachers with literacy, numeracy and development, assist SEND pupils, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Support class teachers with engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to primary pupils.
• Assist literacy, numeracy and general learning development.
• Support pupils with SEND, including autism (ASC) and ADHD.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, Care, Sports Coaches etc.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning abilities and additional needs.
• Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude.
