Job Opportunity: Supply Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students’ learning and making a difference in their education? We are looking for a dedicated Supply Teaching Assistant to join our team in Crediton (and surrounding areas).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing support to the classroom teacher by assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Offering one-on-one or small group support for students who require additional help.
• Helping with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
• Encouraging and motivating students to participate and engage in their learning.
• Supporting students with both academic and social development.
• Assisting with classroom routines and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

What We’re Looking for:

• Experience working with children in education, care, support work, coaching.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for working with young learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students’ learning and development.
