Monarch Education are recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to support primary schools across Chesterfield from September 2026. Roles offer flexibility and opportunities across a range of year groups.

These positions provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support, assisting teachers with engaging activities and promoting pupils’ academic and emotional development throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a UK primary school.
• Level 3 qualification or above.
• Strong understanding of the Teaching Assistant role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate and support pupils.
• Patient, adaptable and reliable approach.
• Commitment to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

We are working with a number of schools preparing for the new academic year and are looking for proactive, engaging and committed support staff who can make a positive impact in the classroom.
