Job summary

Choice Teachers is seeking Teaching Assistants to start immediately in primary schools across Salford. You’ll support pupils one-to-one and in groups, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence. The role offers school hours and flexible day-to-day or long-term placements.

Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools Salford IMMEDIATE START School Hours

Choice Teachers is recruiting Teaching Assistants to start immediately in primary schools across Salford. Whether you're a qualified TA, a graduate exploring a career in education, or you have experience with children from another background, we'd love to hear from you. No Level 2 or 3 TA qualification? No problem. Relevant experience counts.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential
• Build positive relationships and boost children's confidence, engagement and independence
• Support class teachers across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Help create a calm, positive learning environment
• Support children with additional needs, including social, emotional and behavioural challenges

You might be a great fit if you have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or
• Experience with children or young people in education, residential care, youth work, support work, sports coaching, childcare, mentoring or similar
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to settle quickly into different school environments
• Experience with SEND or challenging behaviour (a bonus, not essential)

This role is ideal for:

• Qualified TAs looking for flexible work
