Primary School Teacher – Weston Super Mare

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary School Teacher to cover the Weston Super Mare area. We provide teachers to a range of primary schools, from small village schools to larger institutions. We are looking for teachers to cover all classes in KS1 & KS2 who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about teaching.

Prospero Teaching collaborates with both newly qualified and experienced teachers to help them find their next position.

Contract/Position Details

• Location: Weston Super Mare
• Position: Teachers for KS1 & KS2
• Type of work: Day-to-day and long-term teaching in various schools
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Long term
• Contract Type: Part-time and full-time depending on school needs
• Minimum rate of pay: From £120 a day
• Hours: 08:20am-4pm (full time), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover

Experience and Qualifications

• QTS, PGCE, or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, not essential)
• DBS on the update system or willingness to proceed through the process

Eligibility Criteria

• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
