We are seeking an experienced and dedicated KS1/KS2 Maths Specialist Teacher to join our dynamic team at a leading Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Manchester. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, making a significant impact on the educational journey of students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored and engaging maths lessons to small groups of KS1 and KS2 students with SEN.
Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support students' mathematical development.
Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff to monitor and assess student progress.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence and a love for learning.
Engage with parents and carers to support students' learning and development.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS and has substantial experience teaching maths at KS1 and KS2 levels.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support diverse learners.
Is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with additional needs.
Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Is committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
