Exciting opportunity in Tameside! Tradewind is seeking experienced Primary Teachers to join our vibrant team starting September 2024. One-year fixed contract with potential for a permanent role.

Showcase your skills in a nurturing environment dedicated to holistic pupil development. Engage pupils with an innovative curriculum and diverse activities.

Pay to scale (MPS 1-6).

The successful teacher will be responsible for the progress and attainment of approximately 30 pupils in a mixed ability Year 4 class. There are a small number of SEND pupils, and you will benefit from an experienced TA who is proactive and a great team player.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Create engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum standards and support the creative curriculum delivered by the school.
  2. Understand age-related expectations for children within a high-achieving class and scaffold and stretch accordingly to maximize educational outcomes for pupils as individuals.
  3. Keep up-to-date records of data and analyze where and what to reteach to bridge gaps in learning and raise levels of attainment.
  4. Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect.
  5. Work effectively as a team player with the TA, key stage, and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practice.
