The Governing Body of St. Albert the Great Catholic Primary School, Hemel Hempstead, and St Thomas More Catholic Primary School, Berkhamsted, seek to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic Class Teacher with a specialism in Physical Education (PE) to work across both schools.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across two Catholic primary school settings. In addition to fulfilling the general duties of a class teacher, the postholder will take a lead role in developing, coordinating, and delivering the PE provision across both schools, ensuring all pupils have access to a rich, inclusive, and engaging physical education curriculum.
They will support the wider aims of the school through active participation in curriculum enrichment, school events, and by upholding and modelling the school’s Catholic ethos and values in all areas of school life.
St Albert the Great Catholic Primary School is situated in Dacorum Borough of South-West Hertfordshire, in a modern, accessible building with extensive outdoor facilities, including a MUGA and woodland area which provides Forest School learning. The school is led by an Executive Senior Team, who also have responsibility for St. Thomas More Catholic Primary School in Berkhamsted, and both schools work closely together under their leadership.
Following its conversion to academy status in the summer term of 2023, St Albert the Great is now part of the St. Mark’s hub of All Saints Catholic Academy Trust, joining an established family of Catholic schools committed to providing mutual support and healthy challenge, working collaboratively to continually provide an “Outstanding Catholic Education for All”.
