Are you an enthusiastic and skilled PE specialist with a passion for inspiring young people through sport?
A secondary school in the Farnborough area is seeking a Teacher of Physical Education to join their dynamic and well-resourced department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers the opportunity to be part of a school community that values sport, inclusion, and academic excellence.
You will be delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, promoting a positive and inclusive culture around health, fitness and team sport. The school offers excellent sporting facilities and places a strong emphasis on developing both the practical and theoretical aspects of PE.
You will:
Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship
Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities in line with the national curriculum
Motivate students to participate in extra-curricular sport and physical activity
Support the department in organising fixtures, clubs and school-wide sports events
Play a key role in encouraging lifelong engagement in sport and physical wellbeing
Be open to teaching a second subject if required - candidates with the ability to teach Science are especially welcome
