An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Abbey Wood, Greenwich are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to join their school in September 2025 to teach within Key Stage 2
The Role
In this Primary Teacher role you will taking full class teaching responsibilities for a class within Key Stage 2. All classes benefit from working as a year group team to share planning and work together on assessments and planning enrichment activities. You will have support from a dedicated team of teaching assistants as well as an experience SENCO and SEN support team as pupils attending the school come from a diverse range of backgrounds and a larger than average number of pupils will require support.
The school are looking for an experienced, engaging and dedicated primary teacher or an ECT with experience in KS2. You should have good curriculum knowledge and will be able to bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach to bring subjects to life. Good classroom management and differentiation skills are important.

The school is part of a trust of schools across the borough of Greenwich. The school which you will based in is located close mainland rail stations with local bus links and parking. As a 2 form entry site, teachers and teaching assistants within the year group work closely together in planning and assessment for their respective year groups. The school is popular within the local community and there is a culture of working closely with parents. They have a focus on closing the gap for disadvantaged pupils and provide a broad range of extra-curriculum opportunities.
