Job summary

Aspire People are currently recruiting passionate Primary Teachers for opportunities across Hinckley, starting in January 2027. QTS is essential and you will teach within welcoming primary schools, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupil progress.

Roles are full-time, Monday to Friday, with DBS checks required. Competitive daily rates apply and Aspire People provides dedicated consultant support across placements.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary national curriculum.
• Confident planning and delivering lessons independently.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Take responsibility for the teaching and learning of a primary class.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leadership.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
