CER Education are recruiting qualified primary teachers for roles starting in September 2026 across Formby and surrounding areas near Liverpool. Daily rates range from £140 to £270, depending on experience, with weekly pay and guaranteed work schemes where applicable.

CER Education are working with welcoming primary schools across Formby and the surrounding areas to recruit primary teachers for positions beginning in September 2026.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced teachers, ECTs and supply teachers seeking reliable support, placements in local schools and the freedom to choose work that matches their availability. We're keen to connect with classroom practitioners who will support pupil development and play an active role within the school community.

Role responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum, ensuring activities are clear, purposeful and accessible.
• Assess pupil progress, provide feedback and work collaboratively with school staff to support learning outcomes.
• Differentiate teaching and learning activities to support pupils with a range of needs and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel supported, encouraged and able to build confidence.
• Contribute to the wider school community such as school meetings/parents evenings/marking.

Job requirements:

• Experience teaching in a school setting, preferably within primary education.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• The right to work in the UK and suitable professional references.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and child welfare.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Live Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application.
