Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to register and teach in our primary schools around Bath for daily supply as the new academic year begins. You will gain local experience and build confidence while showcasing your abilities to local schools.

Applicants who are soon to hold QTS will be supported with CPD and local placements, including daily supply, longer-term contracts, and potential permanent roles. Tradewind are an Equal Opportunities employer.

Job Title: Primary Teacher (ECT)

Location: Bath

Start date: 02/11/2026

Pay rate: £140-£160 p/d (6.5hrs)

Are you a dedicated ECT (NQT) that's recently completed your PGCE and obtained QTS? Are you looking for supply teaching work across primary schools in and around Bath to help you find that permanent teaching role at a school you know is a great fit? It can be a great way to build up your confidence and experience as an ECT, while also introducing yourself and showcasing your ability to local schools in your area.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teachers to register with us and then teach in our primary schools in and around Bath, specifically for daily supply when the brand-new academic year begins in September.

We are looking for:

• A teacher who will soon hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
• An inspirational and enthusiastic ECT with high organisational skills
• Someone who is an excellent role model and who actively promotes the skills, attributes, and behaviours important in the classroom
