Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Primary Teacher (ECT) to fill daily supply roles in Swindon and surrounding areas. The role supports ECTs aiming for QTS and provides local school exposure to build experience for a permanent position.

The successful candidate will have a PGCE with QTS, be an inspirational role model and bring strong organisation and planning skills to a range of primary classrooms in the upcoming academic year.

Qualifications

• Completed PGCE and obtained QTS.
• Enthusiastic ECT with strong organisational skills.
• Able to inspire students and model good classroom practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily supply across primary schools in Swindon area.
• Support pupils' learning and adapt to school needs.
• Register with Tradewind and participate in CPD and training.

Job Title: Primary Teacher (ECT)

Start date: 02/11/2026

Pay rate: 140- 160 p/d (6.5hrs)

Are you looking for supply teaching work across primary schools in and around Swindon to help you find that permanent teaching role at a school you know is a great fit? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teachers to register with us and then teach in our primary schools in and around Swindon, specifically for daily supply when the brand-new academic year begins in September.

• A teacher who will soon hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
• An inspirational and enthusiastic ECT with high organisational skills
