Job description

Class Teacher - Key Stage 1 - Brent

Salary information: MPS- UPS, 36,413 - 53,994 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract type: Full time.

Start date: September 2025

This three-form entry primary school is looking to appoint enthusiastic teachers who can deliver high-quality learning within the classroom whilst demonstrating vision, resilience, and enthusiasm.

The school is looking to appoint a Year 1 and a Year 2 Teacher (two teaching positions) from September 2025. The role offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, welcoming environment with a strong commitment to educational excellence and pupil development.

Both positions are one-year fixed-term maternity leave contracts working on a full-time, long-term basis.

The school is seeking an excellent practitioner who is:

  • Enthusiastic, inspirational, and highly motivated.
  • Passionate about learning and attainment with high expectations for yourself and others.
  • Able to demonstrate success in raising children's attainment.

  • QTS - Qualified Teacher Status or comparable
  • UK-based experience or overseas teaching experience
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Ability to commit to a Monday to Friday role during term time
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility in their role
  • Commitment to pupil welfare and well-being
