About the role

Connex Education is working with a number of mainstream primary schools across Teesside and the surrounding areas who use regular cover for Primary Teachers and are now looking for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 specialist Primary Teachers to support over the summer term.

About the schools

As a Primary Teacher with Connex, you will be working with schools around Teesside that pride themselves on aspiration, inspiration, collaboration, and celebrating, creating nurturing environments that enable children to be successful learners. You will be covering classrooms, PPA, and also working with small groups. There are also intervention and outreach tutoring opportunities for teachers who are looking to work away from the mainstream classroom.

Assignment Details

There are opportunities for Primary Teachers with Connex for immediate cover work available until July, with full-time and part-time roles available. We have work to suit those looking for 2-5 days per week or full-time work for either day-to-day, short term, or long term cover.

Person Specification

• Qualified Teaching Status
• Experience of teaching pupils in a primary school setting
• Confidence in covering and teaching a full classroom
• Good knowledge of EYFS/KS1 or KS2 curriculum
• Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one with Connex
