Salary: £130-180 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a nurturing and ambitious primary school in Skegness. This position is available for an immediate start and is ideal for both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

About the Role / Role Overview

The appointed Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering a rich, balanced curriculum tailored to meet the needs of pupils across the primary phase. The role will involve planning and teaching creative, engaging lessons that stimulate learning, build confidence, and promote a love of education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching that meets the needs of all pupils in the class.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with national curriculum standards.
  • Promote pupils’ personal, social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support pupil progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil achievements and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • A strong grasp of curriculum knowledge across core and foundation subjects.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of mixed abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
