TeacherActive are recruiting a highly skilled Primary School Teacher for a Blackwood school. The role is 3 days a week on a long-term basis, teaching KS2 pupils and supporting Welsh language learning with engaging resources.

The school promotes a Catholic ethos and offers a broad, balanced curriculum with extra-curricular opportunities; successful candidates will contribute to safeguarding and pupil development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Primary School Teacher with UK curriculum experience.
• Experience delivering lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Ability to support Welsh language learning within KS2 classes.

Responsibilities

• Manage pupils in KS2 as part of a 3-day-per-week role.
• Support and develop Welsh language learning for pupils.
• Educate and motivate pupils using creative resources while safeguarding.
• Follow child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

The school provides high quality teaching in the core areas including literacy and maths along with a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities.

The school is looking to take on a highly skilled Primary School Teacher 3 days a week on a long term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pupils in Key Stage 2/KS2, supporting their learning of the Welsh language with an enthusiastic teaching style. You will be expected to educate and motivate pupils using creative resources to contribute to their development whilst following child protection and safeguarding guidelines. This role will be a great opportunity to enhance your skills and develop your experience as a Primary School Teacher.
