Primary Teacher (SEN)
South Harrow, West London
£34,513 - £51,179 per annum: Main Pay Scale Outer London (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: September 2025
Our client is looking to recruit a Primary Teacher to join the school for September 2025. We are looking for staff with experience teaching national curriculum subjects such as English, Maths, or Science.
This is a small SEN school in Harrow, North West London, which has recently moved into a purpose-built space. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher seeking a rewarding environment, as the school is expanding with potential for natural progression, including the opening of another school soon. The school maintains a supportive atmosphere, does not tolerate challenging behaviour, and focuses on supporting students' learning needs rather than managing behaviour.
The school caters to students with special educational needs such as Autism (ASC) and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH). It is welcoming, friendly, and supportive. The Headteacher personally welcomes students and staff each morning, holds de-briefs to support staff, and addresses concerns promptly.
Dress code is relaxed. Class sizes are small, typically up to 4-6 students, sometimes fewer, with each student having a 1:1 teaching assistant as per their educational health care plan. The school also accepts referrals from mainstream schools to support students with additional needs.
We are a leading education supply agency dedicated to developing young people. With branches nationwide, we are an employer of choice for high-quality educators. We are committed to equality and welcome applications from all community sections.
If you are a Primary Teacher eager to motivate and engage learners in a rewarding environment, we want to hear from you. Apply today via this website or contact us for more information about this role and other opportunities.
