Primary Teacher - South East London - Education & Training

Are you looking to work in an inclusive fostering environment?

We are seeking a qualified Primary School teacher to join our partner school in South East London. The school has an outstanding reputation and believes in all their students. We would like you to join this fantastic creative school to support SEND students who have complex social, communication and interaction difficulties, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.

Job Title: Primary School Teacher

Location: Lewisham, South East London

Start date: April 2024

Salary: £180 - £210 per day

Full/Part Time: Full Time (Part time role may be available)

Ideal Candidate:

  • You enjoy working as part of a collaborative & committed multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • You have a strong commitment to student and staff well-being and want to work in an organisation with the same strong values.
  • You want to work within an organisation that supports, develops, and invests in their staff.
  • A deep passion for education, dedicated to the growth and development of each student.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to create a dynamic and vibrant learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Have a QTS or equivalent
  • DBS preferably on the Update Service
  • Have experience planning lessons, projects, and assessments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for nurturing and empowering young learners
