Key Stage 2 Teacher (PPA)

Role:

We are seeking a Primary Teacher to work daily within a busy Primary school based in Runcorn. The school is well-resourced with a passionate team committed to valuing and developing every pupil.

Responsibilities:
  1. Cover PPA time and classes as needed
  2. Support the whole class, small groups, and on a 1:1 basis across KS1 and KS2
  3. Encourage children to complete work to the best of their ability
  4. Boost children's self-esteem by highlighting their achievements
  5. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  6. Manage behaviour throughout the school day
Requirements:
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude towards supporting learning
  • Experience working with young children
  • A caring and nurturing personality
  • Excellent communication skills
