Career Teachers Leeds are recruiting Newly Qualified Teachers

Have you just qualified as an ECT this year and haven't secured a job for September?

Career Teachers are looking for ECTs, Newly Qualified Primary Teachers to join our supply bank and support both day-to-day and long-term supply roles.

Our rates start from £140 per day. We work with all postcodes in the LS and WF areas.

We offer flexible working patterns to fit alongside a busy lifestyle, including an online diary booking system.

If you are looking to gain more experience in a variety of schools in Leeds, supply teaching is a great way to experience different environments and build your skills across various age groups.

As a supply teacher, you will be required to:

• Work with children aged 5-11 in a classroom setting.
• Work full or part-time hours, typically between 8 am and 5 pm.
• Support other staff within the setting.
• Help implement daily routines.
• Support children requiring 1:1 assistance.
• Provide support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).

Essential Qualifications Required:

• 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A to C), including English, Maths, and Science, or equivalent.
• An Undergraduate Education Degree or a degree in any subject plus a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE - Scotland).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous in-school teaching experience.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
