Job summary

Operam Limited is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Redbridge to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher. This full-time role starts as soon as possible and offers continuity into the next academic year, with a focus on high-quality lessons and strong pupil progress.

The successful candidate will plan engaging lessons, nurture positive relationships with pupils and collaborate with Teaching Assistants, parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required for the role.
• Experience in a primary setting or strong ECTs encouraged to apply.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Creative, reflective and committed approach to teaching.
• Strong teamwork and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, parents/carers and the wider school team.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.
• Ensure all pupils feel safe, supported and able to succeed.

Job description

Role: Primary Teacher

Location: Redbridge

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Pay: £150 to £185 per week

We are partnering with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Redbridge that is looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity starting as soon as possible, with the potential to continue into the next academic year.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships with pupils and help every child make strong progress. This role would suit an experienced primary teacher or an ECT looking for a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities
