GSL Education are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in High Peak. This role offers the chance to inspire and engage pupils while working in a collaborative and nurturing team environment.

As a Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ academic and personal development. You will work alongside a team of committed professionals to deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of every learner. Key Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:

  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
  • Support students’ academic progress and emotional well-being.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group instruction tailored to individual needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to education and care.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to inspire and motivate learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
  • Applications welcome from trainee and early career teachers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The successful candidate must hold a full, clean driving licence.
  • Ability to build supportive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • A genuine passion for helping children grow academically and personally.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).

  • An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
