Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to work on an ad hoc supply basis in Glossop’s primary schools. You will adapt quickly to different classrooms, deliver engaging KS2 lessons, and maintain a positive learning environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to work on an ad hoc basis at our welcoming primary schools in Glossop. This role is ideal for someone who can step confidently into different classroom settings and make an immediate impact.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
• Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to maintain positive learning environments
• Confidence to adapt quickly to different year groups and teaching requirements
• Excellent classroom presence and rapport-building abilities
• Flexibility to work on short notice when required
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable:

• Experience with a range of SEN including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and current teaching standards
• Flexibility and resilience
