Job summary

Premier Education Ltd is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher to support schools across Cheshire and Staffordshire from September 2026. Roles across EYFS to Year 6 offering flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements.

Applicants should hold QTS or equivalent; ECTs are encouraged to apply. You will deliver engaging lessons, follow school plans, manage behaviour, and foster positive relationships with pupils and staff across different settings.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in a primary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
• Ability to provide two references covering the last two years.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Premier Education Ltd are currently working with a number of primary schools across Cheshire and Staffordshire who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to join them from September.

We have opportunities available across all primary year groups, from EYFS through to Year 6, so whether you have a preferred age group or enjoy the variety of teaching across different classes, we can help find work that suits you.

Supply teaching is ideal if you're looking for flexibility, want to experience different schools, or simply want to focus on teaching without the additional workload that can come with a permanent position.

We're also keen to hear from ECTs looking to get their foot in the door, build confidence and gain experience across different school settings. For experienced teachers, supply can be a great way to enjoy a better work-life balance while continuing to do what you love.

Pay

£120 - £170 per day
Dependent on experience, pay scale and assignment.
