Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Primary Teacher / Supply Teacher / ECT to join their flexible positions near Okehampton. You will deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons and, for long-term bookings, take full ownership of teaching, planning, assessment and pupil progress.

Applicants must have UK QTS, a strong Primary Curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management, an enhanced DBS, and the right to work in the UK. Hours are 8:30–3:30 with competitive day-rate pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS in the UK (ECTs welcomed).
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and adaptability.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to process a new one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day cover: deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain high standards, foster a welcoming learning environment.
• Long-term placements: full ownership of teaching, planning, assessment, and pupil progress tracking.
• Support pupils' emotional, social, and academic development across EYFS to KS2.

Your Role & Responsibilities
