Job summary

Randstad Education in Torbay and the surrounding areas is seeking a Primary School Teacher with UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for day-to-day supply and long-term bookings across local primary schools. You will deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons, maintain high classroom standards, and support pupil progress under the National Curriculum, within standard school hours 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

We welcome experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with an enhanced DBS on Update Service

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (ECTs welcomed).
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and adaptability.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day cover: Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons and maintain a welcoming learning environment.
• Long-term placements: Take full ownership of class teaching, including planning, assessment, and pupil progress tracking under the National Curriculum.
• Support pupils' emotional, social, and academic development across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.

Location: Torbay & Surrounding Areas (Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, Newton Abbot)

Position: Primary Teacher / Supply Teacher / ECT

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: £130 - £160 per day (Day-to-Day) | Paid to Scale (Long-Term / Full PPA)
