Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting Primary Teachers to work across Barnsley’s primary schools, starting September 2026, with daily, short-term and long-term placements and flexible working options. Roles span EYFS to KS2, delivering engaging lessons and building inclusive classrooms.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or recognised equivalent, have recent UK primary school experience, and demonstrate strong classroom management and excellent communication.

Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for your next challenge in Barnsley?

Milk Education is recruiting teachers to work across a variety of primary schools throughout Barnsley. We are looking for teachers who can bring energy, creativity and confidence into the classroom and make a genuine difference to children's learning.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT starting your teaching career, we'd love to hear from you.

Your role could include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Supporting pupils to reach their academic and personal potential
