Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher to cover classrooms in and around Central Manchester (Ardwick, Longsight, Levenshulme). Roles are short-term, flexible and typically daily, with daily rates of £150–£200 depending on experience.

You'll join a pool of enthusiastic, reliable teachers for local primary schools, gaining variety, building classroom confidence and expanding your portfolio while enjoying a flexible working pattern.

Qualifications

• A valid Right to Work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available.
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Recent UK primary classroom teaching experience.
• A passion for delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupil progress.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs and abilities of pupils.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Maintain a safe, structured and stimulating classroom environment.
