Job summary

Premier Education Ltd is seeking Primary Supply Teachers for flexible daily and short-term roles across Tameside starting September 2026. Daily pay ranges from £130 to £180, with same-day and advance bookings available.

Applicants should hold UK QTS, have recent experience in UK primary schools, and be able to adapt to EYFS, KS1 or KS2. Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 using the school's planning where provided.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
  • Maintain positive behaviour and effective classroom management.
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Complete marking and feedback where required.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.

Primary Supply Teacher - flexible daily & short-term work | September 2026

£130 - £180 per day depending on experience and responsibilities

Primary Supply Teacher - responsibilities

Primary Supply Teacher - requirements
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools
  • Confidence delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible, reliable and professional approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)

The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with safer recruitment practices. This role involves safeguarding responsibilities, and the candidate must be committed to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
