Job summary

Heart of Supply is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher to provide flexible teaching opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Scunthorpe. Roles range from day-to-day to long-term placements, helping schools maintain continuity and pupil progress.

You will hold QTS with recent UK primary experience, demonstrating a nurturing, adaptable approach, strong behaviour management, and clear communication with pupils and staff. DBS checks and safeguarding are priorities.

• QTS is required and recent UK primary classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in line with school policies.
• Provide continuity and stability for pupils during day-to-day or longer-term placements.
• Maintain safeguarding, classroom management and positive behaviour in the classroom.

Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Flexible, day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles.

Salary: £34,069 - £46,940 per annum, pro-rata (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)

What you will need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
• A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
• The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
• Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
• A minimum of 6 weeks' teaching experience in the UK
