Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Hockley
Salary Range: £125-£220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:

As a Primary Supply Teacher, your role is to deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range in the absence of the regular class teacher. You’ll be expected to follow lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and help maintain a positive learning environment. This role offers flexibility and is ideal for teachers who enjoy working in different settings while making a real impact.

Your Role Will Include:

• Teach lessons across various primary year groups as needed.
• Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure learning objectives are met.
• Create a safe and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support pupils’ learning and respond to their needs confidently.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff in each school.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Ability to adapt to different school settings and teaching styles.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Friendly and professional attitude with clear communication skills.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
